Annual General Meeting

Event Date: November 20, 2014 Location: Portholme Church, Selby, YO8 4QH

Selby Civic Society's 2014 Annual General Meeting is on Thursday 20th November in Portholme Church, Selby at 7.30 pm.

It will be followed at 8.00 pm by an illustrated talk on "Building Restoration" by Charles Anelayof William Anelay Ltd, Osbaldwick. The talk is open to all members of the public,

Founded in 1747, William Anelay Limited is one of the UK's longest established construction companies. The company, which specialises in the conservation and restoration of listed and historic buildings, has received a string of prestigious awards for work on buildings across the UK.. In 2013, for its restoration of Astley Castle in Warwickshire, it received the ultimate architectural accolade in the form of the 2013 RIBA Stirling Prize for Architecture.
