Selby Civic Society member's talk in Goole

Discovered in the junk pile of a charity bookshop by Selby Civic Society member and local historian David Lewis, the story behind the book "Durability, efficiency, economy" is told by a temporary display to be held at Goole Museum on 13th August 2016.

It's a new edition of a hand-written Edwardian cookbook containing long-lost local delicacies such as Moggy, Potato Cheesecake and Cheap Cabinet Pudding
