Post War Selby Pubs - help needed

Posted on 27 October 2014 by David Moss

Research on post-war public houses – help needed.

CAMRA Pub Heritage Group have an ongoing arrangement with York University’s Archaeology Department to help with their own, and English Heritage’s, research on post-war pubs – their characteristics and, most importantly, the extent to which they have changed, or even survived!

So if you know the names and locations of any Selby District pubs built in the period 1945 to 1970 – new builds not renovations - please use the reply feature here, or email us at selbycivicsociety@yahoo.co.uk to let us know.
