Hear about the women who worked in Number One Shell Filling Factory on the north east of Leeds, and the work of their successors.
Almost 100 years ago, on 5th Dec 1916, the factory suffered the worst tragedy in the history of the city, when a massive explosion killed 35 of the women who worked there.
The meeting is open to members and non-members - £2 for members; £5 for non-members includes light refreshments
