Selby Cemetery Project - Public Meetings

Posted on 4 October 2016 by David Moss

Selby Town Council want your ideas to help make the town's Cemetery a place where people of all ages can learn more about their family history, and that of others who have lived in Selby in the past.

The Town Council are looking to work with the Heritage Lottery Fund to improve facilities at the Cemetery, and have arranged public meetings where you can share your ideas.

So, please come along to any or all of these 3 meetings:

Selby Town Hall : Weds. 12 Oct 10 am - 1 pm
Selby Cemetery : Weds. 19 Oct 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm
Selby Town Hall : Weds. 19 Oct : 6 pm - 8 pm.

The idea is that the Town Council can display more detail of the projects mentioned above, and get your ideas about what could be done in Selby.

If you want more information beforehand, contact the Town Council on 01757 708449 (Mon-Fri, 10a.m.- 4p.m) or via admin@selbytowncouncil.gov.uk or download a flyer giving more background information here.
