Goddards House and Garden is a Grade I listed Arts and Crafts house in Dringhouses, York, built in 1927 for Noel and Kathleen Terry of the famed chocolate-manufacturing family Terry’s.
The National Trust acquired it in 1984.
The Arts and Crafts movement in the decorative and fine arts began in the UK and spread through Europe and North America from about 1880 and into the 1920s, Featuring traditional craftsmanship and simple forms, it often used medieval, romantic or folk decorative styles.
